What Zidane Lacks is a Couple of Horns…

Well this World Cup is finally over, being a follower of this tournament fully since 1990, I must admit that this was the worst ever! I know a lot of you enjoyed it, especially glory hunters who have no passion to the game, only follow the winning teams and boy will the supporters of Italy grow in numbers in Bahrain. I hated the tournament, it’s my right. You loved it, good for you! Now let me speak up, dumbass.

Zidane exited in the best manner which made me so happy. For him to end his career in such a goatish way, was the best that I could watch on TV.

This French (Originally a Touareg Barbarian-Algerian) baguette tosser is a professional who a lot of people admire for what he has done for football. So no matter how insulting someone can be against you, as a professional, you had no excuse to do that. So kudos to the ref who acted perfectly, and "Shaineddine", you got OWNED!!!!

So France and Italy both being on my most hated teams list, I was actually happy that Italy denied those baguette devourers a chance to show off again like they did in 1998. You DON'T fucking deserve to go past the second round at the most. Your true face was shown in 2002 when you didn't score a single goddamn goal. That's what your level is. Heck you barely made it out of the group stage this year. Talk about fucking luck.

Anyways I am glad this shitty tournament is over with. We can go back to our normal lives and hope that 2010 would be a better one.
I will be covering it on this same blog hopefully. This year was too shitty for me to put any effort into covering it. The best highlight of it was Saudi's 4-0 loss to Ukraine and Italy's win over France last night. Until then, this is the LiB Team leaving this blog until the next World Cup begins. Take care and stay tuned back on http://lifeinbahrain.blogspot.com

The Saudis Got What They Deserve...

I am soooooooooo ecstatic, Saudi lost to Ukraine 4-0, hoooray!

I hope this silences them, even better, if Ukraine lost to Spain 4-0, and they beat Saudi 4-0, so theoretically, Saudi should lose to Spain by no less than 8-0 which would be a reincarnation of their brilliant loss to Germany 8-0 four years ago!

This was hung on the window of my car 4 years back...

This is my gift today to all who are happy for Saudi's loss, and I hope that by next Friday, the day of deliverance will come and we see another 8 goals past this arrogant team...

Now some might ask, why all this hatred towards Saudi? I have my reasons, but it's not against the Saudis themselves, it's against their shitty team and their arrogance, they act as if they are the best team in the universe. For fuck's sake just accept that you're a shitty team and don't make false statements in the fucking newspapers that you are going past the giant teams! Talk about over-confidence.

So up yours, Sami Al-Jaber Al-Zagga*. You deserve it for being such an arrogant and unsportsman bastard. Fucking asswipe.

On the other hand, England -much to my happiness- have made it through to the second round after beating Trinidad's team by 2-0. Although their performance wasn't convincing but let's hope they do better in the coming rounds. As for Trinidad, they have put up some nice display although their team is not that big. I wonder what were the Bahrain team going to look like if they fell in a group with giants like England and Sweden? I guess even more hammering than the Saudi bastards!

*Zagga = Shit

World Cup Fever...

Well well well, the World Cup is upon us, now it's time for everyone to stick themselves to the TV screens everywhere and watch this once-in-4-years event.

ART of course have the shitty rights to air, depriving a lot from watching the event on terrestrial TV for free, the way it USED to be, the jackasses. God bless the Dream Box and the wonders it makes ;)

One of the advantages of this event is that people would be busy watching the tournament either at home, at a friend's, at a gahwa* or in large malls where they set-up large screen TVs. This means that traffic during match times will be reduced thus allowing you to be able to run some of your errands in less irritation.

We will try to cover some of the events with some reports and hopefully some pics that we can get, either here in Bahrain, of people watching the World Cup or from various websites.

It has already started and the results thus far are as follows:
